A TALK ABOUT THE KINDLE! (Postive)

One must venture on in the journey of what is known as the electronical generation of the modern world, and try out what the young people are getting involved in today.

My last post was on the negative train of the Kindle, and this post will be a much lighter (and longer) read, the positives!

So let's begin!

Positive!

  • It's super light, so good for travelling, specfically.
  • They have a wide range of models, so you can pick one that is best tallored for your taste (music, movies, social networking, Amazon Kindle book store, or just to read?).
  • They have excellent memory. I believe the model I have can hold up to 1, 400 books. Unsure if this is true or not, but I cannot wait to find that out.
  • Highlighting! Probably one of my favourite uses to get out of it, I love to highlight quotes I find interesting or meaningful or maybe just find plain amusing, and I have yet to use the notes yet but making notes on such quote highlighting wouldn't be such a bad idea either!
  • True to word, the Kindle has little glare, making it almost as good as paper in an actual book. It makes it much easier to read, but shame the IPad has a terrible glare and the Kindle app there is not so great on this matter!
  • The download speed, no mater how crappy your internet, is awesome. They download in a matter of seconds, so you can instantly read whatever book you chose to purhcase, which is probably another one of my favourite features of this product.
  • Kindle prices are reasonably cheap, however I still like to spend money on something I can physically hold in my hand.
  •
So, that's all, folks!
Sorry for sounding a bit like a saleswoman here, but hey, this is my honest opinion and I hope I contributed to what made your mind up in being in favour of, or agasint, e-books!
